Baltimore's Max Eilbacher and Duncan Moore use heavily manipulated and abstracted sonic quality with performance tending towards the theatrical side, using techniques such as grotesque facial gestures, physical comedy and dance. The two embark on their first euro tour as a duo, Moore having previously visited with his whirlwind reel2reel choreography Headband, Eilbacher performing abstract computer music on his own (check his LP on Mego) and in polyrhythmic rock band Horse Lords. Eilbacher collaborates with Matmos and spent years living on Baltimore’s west side helping run the now legendary house venue “The Bank”.
